KISSING

BANDCAMP / INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK

Kissing make retrofuturistic songs arranged for two singers, accompanied by a blend of synthesizers and folk instruments. Kissing’s lyrical inspirations span magic realism, mythology, masculinity, metamorphosis, and motorways. When they play live, they use ritualistic gestures, dance, and playful homespun stagecraft to conjure up a tender realm.

Kissing are both non-binary. They like to purposefully undercut the classic macho coolness of rock bands, switching it for a perspective that’s altogether softer and queerer. This carries into their creative practice, where PB and Moon collaborate in a non-hierarchical fashion on every aspect of the project.
